As a More Light church, Westminster invites all persons of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered communities to membership and full participation in worship, leadership, service opportunities and all ministries of the Church.

Westminster lights a peace candle each Sunday remembering all who are currently serving in our Armed Forces. The Peace Cross in the background was dedicated to World Peace on the occasion of the 150 anniversary of Westminster Presbyterian Church, September 2004.
