Groundbreaking Ceremony
On Sunday, June 13, 2010 Westminster Presbyterian Church officially broke ground on our new West Entrance Project with great celebration! Chuck Akers (Buildings & Grounds), Chuck Kreiner (New Beginnings Campaign), Bonnie Morton and Betsy Mitchell, (New Beginnings Campaign), joined with Rev. Tom Yorty to give thanks and to break ground. As camera crews from WGRZ Channel 2, YNN Buffalo and WIVB Channel filmed, we came together after the 11am service to begin our 3rd phase of our New Beginnings capital project which raised just over 3 million dollars.
Thank you to all of you that gave and pledged so generously to the Campaign for New Beginnings which made all 3 phases of our improvement and building projects a reality. We ask that if you pledged to New Beginnings that you fulfill your pledge as no funds will be borrowed to complete this capital project.
